CONDENSATE DRAINS

BACK

Condensate drains are designed for draining condensate from compressed air system components. They are installed underneath a pressure vessel, filter, dryer, cyclone separator or similar element of the system under pressure. Airpol offers three types of condensate drains:
– mechanical (float) – in which the valve is opened as a result of the float being raised by the rising level of condensate,
– time-controlled – in which the solenoid valve opens at specific time intervals set on an electronic timer,
– electronic condensate level-controlled – the drain minimises the loss of compressed air and is characterised by very quiet operation.
