The applied ASU screw compression stage with optimised rotor profile, completely designed, manufactured and tested at Airpol, guarantees reliability and high compressor performance throughout its entire service life. Appropriately oversized bearings and low tolerance applied during the entire production process of screw compression stages ensure their durability and long service life.
The electric motor is directly coupled to the screw stage via a flexible coupling. The result is loss-free energy transfer from the electric motor to the screw stage, reduced maintenance costs and high uptime.
A high-performance radial fan with higher compression ensures effective cooling throughout the entire life of the compressor. The high compression ensures an adequate and uniform flow of the ambient air drawn in through the cooler, even in the case of significant contamination. The fan is driven by a low-speed motor, which significantly reduces the sound emission level of the entire compressor. An efficient ventilation and cooling system enables the compressors to operate at ambient temperatures of up to 40ºC. This not only ensures safe operation, but also effectively reduces the temperature of the compressed air to approximately 10ºC above ambient temperature.
Efficient compressed air treatment via an oil separation system ensures exceptionally low compressed air oil content of 3 ppm or less. This makes these compressors ideal for a wide range of industrial applications. For systems requiring additionally treated process air, a wide range of downstream equipment, such as filters and dryers, can be used.
